Class 2 Public Speaking Competition

12 July 2017

On Wednesday 12th July we held our annual Public SPeaking Competition for children in Class 2.

The competition was judged by Brenda Brodie and she had a tough descisions on her hands!

The speeches were excellent and we found out about a number of topics including water activities, scrap metal, dinosaurs, PGL, the Stone Age, Animals, countries of the world, Lego and K'Nex with some fantastic visual aids, female artists, cars, Spotlight and budgies - with the real thing for us to look at!

The competition was so difficult that the judge had to have a draw in the end - a Winmarleigh first!

Well done to Laura for and well researched and interesting talk on Beatrix Potter and Michael for a super talk about Nascar.
