Winmarleigh Church of England Primary School teamed up with B&M Waste this week to learn about the recycling journey and it's impact on the environment. All pupils joined Director of B&M Waste, Mick Ashall and his marketing manager Jayne at Moss Lane park in Garstang to take part in a litter pick. Working in pairs, pupils made their way around the park to clean it up along with the help of staff and parent volunteers.  On their return to school, pupils participated in a workshop to learn about what can/can't be recycled and the benefits of recycling. It was a thoroughly engaging morning with pupils benefiting greatly from the experience.

Mick Ashall, Director or B&M Waste said "The children are a great testament to Winmarleigh School. They all took part whole-heartedly in the litter pick and subsequent recycling lesson. It's fantastic that the school encourage their pupils to learn about the environmental benefits of recycling and avoiding waste going to landfill."
