Children from Winmarleigh have won Best in Parade at Garstang Children's Festival!
On Monday 22nd May children from Year 6 went on a residential visit to York.
On Thursday 18th May children had a gardening afternoon to tidy up the plantation and decide where they wanted to put the new plants from Holden Clough Nursery.
On Thursday Helen Yates, a local artist, came to visit the children.
On Wednesday 10th May Class 1 children visited St Luke's Church in Winmarleigh.
Children had a fantastic visit to Holden Clough Nursery on Thursday 4th May to collect their prize for winning the Lancashire LIfe School Garden Competition!
On Tuesday 2nd May Debbie and Jonny from NISCU came to visit.
Today children in Class 2 had an introduction to friction and took part in different investigations and challenges.
Children from Year 5 went to Tower Wood on a 3 day residential visit with St Thomas' Primary School, Garstang.
On Friday 24th March children had a Wear Something Red Day to raise money for Comic Relief. Children from Class 2 also held a brass concert for families to perform music they have been learning in lessons.
Children from Class 1 have been creating habitat boxes.
Children enjoyed a theatre production about Holy Week at St Thomas's School.
