The children in Key Stage 1 learned all about the story of migration and how birds eat. They fed different kinds of birds including swans and flamingos! The children had a great time in the Discovery Hide using the binoculars and spotting different kinds of birds.
Key stage 2 pupils found out about how mammals adapt to live in wetlands. They observed the otters, making notes about their features and behaviours and then created their own mammals making sure they had all the necessary adaptations to survive in wetland conditions. They also studied the different species of birds around the Discovery Hide.
