Spring term so far in Class 2
We have had a busy start the the new year in Class 2. Here are some of the the exciting things we have been doing in class.
Science Day in Class 2
Children in class 2 demonstrated their knowledge of volcanoes and rocks through a science day on Friday 2nd February.
Rossall Code Breaking Challenge
Children in Class 2 were invited to take part in the Rossall School Code Breaking Challenge.
Quick Sticks Hockey @ GCA
Children from Winmarleigh took part in the Quick Sticks Hockey training at Garstang Community Academy.
Science Hunters visit Class 2
Lancaster University Science Hunters visit to teach children in Class 2 about Volcanoes linking to their current science work on Rocks.
Awful Auntie Theatre Visit
On Thursday 18th January, Class 2 visited Preston Guild Hall to watch the theatre performance of Davis Walliam's Awful Auntie.
Are We Nearly There Yet...? Our 2017 Nativity Production

Year 4 Table Tennis at Garstang Academy
On Wednesday children in Year 4 were invited to a table tennis coaching session at Garstang Community Academy.
