Working Together
At Winmarleigh, we recognise that parents and carers know their children best. We value your knowledge, experiences and views and believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential.
Our class teachers, SENDCo and Headteacher are always happy to discuss your child's progress, celebrate their achievements and explore any concerns you may have.
Together, we aim to ensure that every child feels included, valued and supported to reach their full potential.

What should I do if I have any concerns regarding my child?
At Winmarleigh Church of England Primary School, we understand that parents and carers know their children best. We value open communication and encourage you to share any concerns you may have about your child's learning, development, wellbeing or additional needs.
If you are concerned about your child's progress or think they may have special educational needs, your first point of contact should be your child's class teacher. They will be happy to discuss your concerns, explain the support already in place and consider any further steps that may be helpful.
You can also speak to our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) or Headteacher. Please contact the school office if you would like to arrange a meeting.
We believe that working together with families helps us identify children's needs early and provide appropriate support.
Who can I contact?
SENDCo: Mrs Clare Darling
Headteacher: Mrs Jennifer Cunningham
SEND Governor: Mrs Kirsty Ashton
Please contact the school office to arrange a meeting or discuss any concerns.
Further information about SEND provision at Winmarleigh can be found in our SEND Policy, SEND Information Report and Graduated Response guidance.
